Help: Issue List

This page displays a list of issues for which you are a participant. Those that are owners of issues can click the View Owned Issues link. Those that can see all issues can click the View All Current Issues link. Issues with the status Warehoused will not appear in the list. These issues are only available through the Search page.

The issues can be filtered by project using the available filter.

To view a particular issue thread, click on the View Issue icon for that issue, or on the issue subject.

To open an issue, click on the Open navigation option.

To search for any issue, including those in the Knowledge Base, click on the Search navigation option.

The Knowledge Base is a group of issues opened up to the bulk of system users (those that have access to the Knowledge Base). It allows users to "publish" useful threads/discussions/information to people who are not participants on those specific issues.

Issues can have one of five statuses, as follows:

  • Open: Issues that are ongoing and active.
  • Postponed: Issues that are delayed or postponed. This status has no functional impact on the issue.
  • Resolved: Issues that are resolved or finished. This status has no functional impact on the issue.
  • Closed: Issues that are over and no longer active. Replies cannot be posted to closed issues.
  • Warehoused: Issues that are older and no longer active. Replies cannot be posted to warehoused issues. Furthermore, warehoused issues are only available through the Search. Issues belonging to projects that are warehoused (and only those projects) are all automatically warehoused.

The Issue list (including all information within each issue) can be printed by clicking on the Printer Friendly button. This launches a version that can be printed or saved as a file. In order to have the most accurate formatting, make sure the option for "Print background colors and images" is turned on (for Internet Explorer). This option is available by clicking Tools: Internet Options: Advanced (and then finding the appropriate printing related option).
